About Cathy Pitters & Torie Nguyen

Cathy Pitters and Torie Nguyen first met as members of the local craft collective, Portland Super
Crafty. They both have been making and selling their own handmade wares for years and saw that
Portland was lacking in a regular venue for crafters. The pair decided to create Crafty Wonderland -
Portland's first monthly indoor art + craft extravaganza in April of 2006. Over the years the event has
gained a large following of loyal shoppers and vendors and has received glowing reviews in both local
and national press. The event is now held twice yearly and features 200+ artists and crafters selling their
wares in a 60,000 square foot hall at the Oregon Convention Center and boasts 16,000 attendees.

About our Professional Development Workshops

Some of the hardest things for creative people to develop are the business skills needed to market and sell their creations successfully. Our Saturday morning workshops cover a wide range of topics to benefit creative minds, with local experts as instructors and virtually no barrier to entry. Learn how to photograph your work, find out the best uses for social media, adopt basic financial practices and much more. With intimate learning environments, heavy Q&A sessions and handouts, you can apply topics to your personal needs.

Some seats may be available at the door, but are not guaranteed. Should you decide to pay at the door, we accept cash and checks, made payable to Pacific Northwest College of Art.
